AHEPA Chapter 125, Schenectady, N.Y.
Trojan Chapter 306, Troy, N.Y.
The chapter donated $800 toward the establishment of a Greek
School at St. George Greek Orthodox Church and Hellenic Center.
The donation will also help with maintenance and upkeep of
St. George's facilities and grounds. Chapter Vice President James
Gaminde represented Chapter President Fillipos Menagias and
presented the chapter's donation at St. George's Christmas Tree
Lighting festivities, Dec. 6, 2019.
Ahepans and their families volunteered at the Regional Food
Bank of Northeastern New York, Dec. 14, 2019. They packed
more than 4,500 pounds of frozen food for distribution to charitable organizations and persons in need. The chapter also
donated $500 to the Regional Food Bank. According to Food
Bank officials, this donation will provide for 2,000 meals.

The chapters held a joint initiation ceremony, Dec. 19, 2019.
District 6 Lt. Governor Dean Moskos, Past District Governor Demi
Pamboukes, and Brother Constantine P. Kapassakis addressed
the initiates, who are eager to project AHEPA's ideals for the coming years.
On behalf of the chapter, Chapter President Harry Yanakis and
Vice President Nick Voulkoudis presented a $20,000 donation
to Ronald McDonald House, Dec, 4, 2019. Spiridoula Katechis
represented Ronald McDonald House. In addition, the chapter
donated $10,000 to the Asia Minor and Pontos Hellenic Research
Center (AMPHRC) to support the making of the documentary film,
"LETHAL NATIONALISM, Genocide of the Greeks."
