Michelle Craycraft:
20 Years with AMC

Kay Quatroche Promoted to
Director of Service Coordination

AHEPA Management Company Assistant Controller
Michelle Craycraft celebrated 20 years with the
company.
In 1999, AMC hired Michelle as Accounts
Payable Clerk. Over the years, she received promotions that included a position as accounting manager, where she supervised accounts payable and
cash management, before becoming the company's
assistant controller. In her current position, Michelle
is responsible for analyzing financial information,
assisting with audits, and working with the development team on the affordable assisted living properties.
Prior to her employment with AMC, Michelle
worked in the accounting field for many years in the
automotive, medical, and manufacturing industries.
We asked Michelle a few questions about her
time with AMC:

Kay Quatroche, MBA, CGW, has been promoted to director of Service
Coordination, announced AHEPA Management Company.
As director, Kay will manage the Quality Assurance and Service
Coordination Departments.
Prior to joining AMC in 2014, Kay worked as Quality Assurance
SC Training and Marketing manager. She is a member of the American
Association of Service Coordinators, the Indiana Association of Service
Coordinators, and the American Society on Aging.
Kay provided her insight into her new role:

Q: What do you like about what you do or your
department?
A: The accounting department is just one piece
of a larger team which provides a much needed
service nationwide. We provide financial support for the properties to make informed decisions in everyday operations.
Q: What changes have you seen over the past 20
years with the company?
A: The company has doubled in size and
branched out to assisted living.
Q: Anything else you'd like to add?
A: Over the years I have had the opportunity
to work with great people. The properties we
manage are staffed with caring individuals who
provide services for low income elderly and persons with disabilities.

Q: What will you enjoy about directing the Service Coordination department at AMC?
A: Developing continuing professional development for Service
Coordinator and Quality Assurance Managers and instituting a program
of cross training for the Quality Assurance
Managers
Q: How does your experience in Quality
Assurance help with your new role?
A: I am knowledgeable about the current
processes and guidelines. This experience
forms a base for future planning, determining
what processes to keep and which areas need
improvement. My two primary roles as a QA Manager were to market
and develop our outside Quality Assurance contracts and to develop the
trainings for AMC and contract Service Coordinators.
Q: What do you like about working at AMC?
A: I like the fact that my work directly affects our residents' quality of
life. Also, I enjoy the AMC team that I work with.
Q: What are your plans for the department?
A: I am focusing on development within the department members and
communications within our department and other AMC departments.
In conclusion, Kay adds, "Every day I feel very blessed to have work
that is challenging and fulfilling, and to be able to improve the lives of our
residents." AMC congratulates Kay and wishes her much success in her
new position.
