Ahepans from Chapter 489, New Port Richey, Fla., delivered
"Care Packages" to each resident in the AHEPA 489 Apartments
community. They performed this philanthropic act two times
in April.
Bay News 9, a local TV station, featured the deliveries in its
news coverage, April 21, 2020.

Haverhill Residents Enjoy Safe Pizza Delivery
The Board of AHEPA 39, Haverhill, Mass. provided cheer and
delicious pizza to the residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
To maintain social distancing guidelines, individual door
delivery was provided graciously by Property Manager Irene
Rhodes and Richard Bourget, maintenance staff. Their efforts to
deliver the pizza continually during this ordeal while keeping
residents safe is to be commended. The board is fortunate to
have these two professionals at its property.

North Miami Residents
The dynamic team at AHEPA 421 Apartments, North Miami, Fla.,
brought goodwill and joy to their residents. They distributed different types of art materials and crayons donated by two mental health
agencies. Service Coordinator Roberto Ramirez also bought additional crayons, and the team collected copies of puzzles in anticipation of the many residents' requests.
In addition, the AHEPA 421 team answered residents' calls about
getting their groceries. The "Thursday Bus" never stopped working
to take them to supermarkets. Many residents feared supermarket
crowds that could potentially impact their health.
