The dream teams of AHEPA 29 I, II, III
and IV Apartments, Houston, delivered
hot lunches to their residents throughout April and May. Zoes Kitchen sponsored the lunches. Since April 20, they
have been hitting the ground running by
delivering hot lunches to their residents
every day. Service Coordinator Bridgette
Carter has been excited and overjoyed
to organize a project as this important
as this one is to the residents. The team
of service coordinators orchestrated the
program and helped deliver the meals
and spread the cheer.
All AHEPA 29 properties received
the daily hot lunches, and soon thereafter, Zoes extended them to Penelope
54 I & II Apartments, also located in
Houston.
"The look upon our residents' faces
after we have delivered the lunches is
simply priceless," Carter said. "At the
end of my workday, I often have to catch
the falling tears of joy with two thumbs
up for a job well done and this is what
keeps me going and inspires me every
day."
Carter shared an image that captured
the excitement of the team. Property
Manager Ana Rojas, who has been central to coordinating the great teamwork
that has made the dream work throughout the process, took the photo.
