District 2
Socrates Chapter 6, Jacksonville, Fla.
AHEPA Chapter 12, Tampa, Fla.
The brothers spent Leap Day, Feb. 29, volunteering at the NE
Florida Food Bank. In total, the brothers, together with members
of St. John the Divine, sorted 4,260 pounds of food, which helped
to create 3,550 meals.
March was Cooley's Anemia Month for the chapter, which
was held in cooperation with St John Greek Orthodox Church.
Despite coronavirus restrictions, which only allowed the campaign to operate two of the five Sundays in March, the brothers raised awareness about Cooley's Anemia. The chapter also
donated $1,000 to the Cooley's Anemia Foundation of New York.
District 3
AHEPA Chapter 9, Fayetteville, N.C.
AHEPA Chapter 122, Norfolk, Va.
The chapter held its our annual Athenian Night fundraiser,
Feb. 8, 2020. The proceeds will benefit the chapter's annual
scholarship program, which grants up to seven, $1,000
scholarships to students.
The chapter reflects on an active year highlighted with the presentation of more than $20,000 to students during its scholarship dinner
and the recent initiation of 10 young men (average age of 23) into the
Order. The chapter hosted several major events for the community:
OXI Day, Greek School graduation day, and Thanksgiving luncheon for
senior citizens. Brothers distribute flowers on Mother's Day and clean
headstones and place flowers on gravesites at Veterans Day. Pictured
