Ambassador of Cyprus to U.S.
Supreme President Zachariades met formally with Ambassador
of the Republic of Cyprus to U.S. Leonidas Pantelides at the
Embassy of Cyprus, October 18, 2016. The discussion focused
on the status of Cyprus settlement talks as well as prospects for Cypriot energy development. Consul Konstantinos
Polykarpou, Embassy of Cyprus, and Executive Director Basil
Mossaidis attended.
"We thank Ambassador Pantelides for his time and
insight, and we wish him well in his relatively new post in
Washington," Zachariades said. "We appreciated his thorough
update on the status of the settlement talks. AHEPA is supportive of the ongoing Cypriot-led settlement process and
will remain vigilant as the talks address the more significant
challenges that lie ahead."
