Indiana AALF Property
Makes Progress
AHEPA Management Company, Inc. will soon close on the financing for a new
Affordable Assisted Living Facility (AALF) to be constructed in Elkhart, Ind. The
owner of the property is Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart, LLC.
Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart will be designed to serve low-income older
adults who need some help to maintain their independence. Prospective residents
must meet income requirements and be at least 62 years of age.

The building will be three stories and offer a mix of 136 private,
one-bedroom and efficiency apartments. Residents will be provided
three meals per day, and will have access to on-site medical care,
transportation and activities, as well as laundry service. The property will include parking and a gazebo among other amenities.
Approximately 40 staff members will be employed one the facility
is fully occupied.
Construction on Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart is expected
to begin late fall 2017 with completion estimated for March 2019. Rendering of AALF in Elkhart, IN
Gardant Management Solutions will provide property management
services for the community. The general contractor is Shiel Sexton Co., Inc., and the architect is Gleason Architects, P.C.
Kim Gregory Named New Human Resources Director
for AHEPA Management Company

AHEPA Management Company has named Kim Gregory as Human Resources Director.
In this capacity, Ms. Gregory is responsible for the management and oversight of human
resources and payroll for the company's 94 buildings around the country as well as corporate staff in Fishers, Indiana.
Prior to joining AHEPA Management Company, Ms. Gregory was employed as
Director of Human Resources for Volunteers of America, a non-profit organization
which provides senior housing, veteran, corrections and behavioral health programs.
Previously, she also served as Human Resources Manager of CICOA Aging and In-Home
Solutions, and as Human Resources Generalist for the Indianapolis Housing Agency. Ms.
Gregory has 22 years in the human resources field. She is a member of the Society of
Human Resources Management (SHRM) as well as the Indianapolis chapter of SHRM. In
civic involvement, she is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She is a member
of Eastern Star Church.
Ms. Gregory earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She
holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University, where she majored in Industrial
Organizational Psychology. She is a native of Gary, Ind., and has resided in Indianapolis
for 21 years.
