Campaign Kicks-off with

he second year of the AHEPA-Saint Nicholas Capital
Campaign Drive got off to a tremendous start this fall
thanks to significant contributions from two chapters
that totaled $55,000. In addition, this fall, Ahepans
had the opportunity to tour the Saint Nicholas construction site
to get a firsthand account of how the project is progressing.
"We sincerely appreciate the generous donations we have
received since the start of the new administrative year to help
rebuild Saint Nicholas National Shrine," Supreme President
John W. Galanis said. "It is quite an achievement, and we
commend the brothers for their efforts. We have surpassed the
$250,000 mark thanks to our grassroots mobilization, and we'll
keep the momentum going until we reach our goal."

Karacostas, PSP, who also serves as National Chairman of the
AHEPA-Saint Nicholas National Shrine Capital Campaign Drive
and is a member of Chapter 326, presented the donation along
with several proud chapter members.
Also Oct. 18, Sons of Pericles Chapter 293, Bayside, N.Y.
presented a $1,200 donation to Supreme President Galanis
and SOP Supreme President Andreas Christou for AHEPA's
#RebuildStNicholas capital campaign drive. Chapter 293
President Chris Tavantzis made the presentation. As the only
current active SOP chapter in New York City, the Junior Brothers
raised the funds for a cause that truly has hit close to home.

AHEPA's capital campaign to help rebuild Saint Nicholas
National Shrine at World Trade Center in October.

the AHEPA-Saint Nicholas Capital Campaign Drive, Nov.
6, 2015. Funds were raised through an "all hands on deck"
approach to fundraising, which included a raffle for a new
