Greece Delights as AMC Anticipates Future Growth

Greece did not disappoint.
Thanks to the AHEPA National Housing Corporation's annual
board meeting being held in conjunction with the AHEPA
Supreme Convention, key AHEPA Affordable
Housing Management Company personnel and
I were afforded the golden opportunity to visit
and enjoy Athens, Greece, as part of our participation
at the board meeting.
In addition to being my first time in Greece,
it was my first time attending an AHEPA Supreme Convention.
Many memorable moments were made thanks to unforgettable
and unique venues and breathtaking views that only
Greece provides. It was a tremendous pleasure to meet the first
female president of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, at the
Presidential Mansion. She was very gracious with her time.
We also enjoyed the fellowship and company of AHEPA and
Daughters of Penelope members, and their families. We were
grateful for everyone's warm hospitality.
Congratulations to four ANHC board members who were
presented with well-deserved honors at the convention: ANHC
President Carl Hollister and Executive Board Members Ike
Gulas, John Miller, and John Zourzoukis. Each honoree exhibited
selfless dedication and countless hours of volunteer service
during the past few years to help our company overcome adversity
to reach new heights. I am also proud the AHEPA Housing
program announced a whopping $530,000 in total charitable
contributions to foundations.

joined AHEPA Affordable Housing
Management Company in May 2021, as the company's Human
Resources Coordinator. She has years of experience in many
areas which gives her a unique understanding of AMC employees
and areas of AMC: Property Management, Invoicing,
Onboarding, Training, Recruiting and Human Resources.
Crystal says, " I truly enjoy communicating with people,
and helping them with goals, questions, concerns and resolutions. "

milestone moments this fall that will demonstrate
the fulfillment of our company's growth strategy. On October
1, AMC will assume management of Hellenic Senior Living of
Mishawaka, an affordable assisted senior living community.
This development occurs on the heels of our taking over management
of Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart on August 1. With
these two management agreements in place, AMC completes a
process that began in 2015 when the company started to build
affordable assisting living communities in Indiana. The plan has
come to fruition as AMC owns and manages all four affordable
assisted living communities the company has built. We continue
to actively identify opportunities to expand our footprint in the
affordable assisted living space to other states.
Also, this fall, we received exciting news that HUD awarded
us $16.7 million to develop new affordable supportive housing for
the elderly in Des Moines, Iowa, and South Bend, Indiana, under
the HUD Section 202 program. Further, by the end of the fall, we
hope to close on agreements to perform significant rehab and renovations
to our HUD 202 communities in Mobile, Alabama, and
Columbia, South Carolina, under HUD's " RAD for PRAC " program.
All these endeavors will bring more safe, dignified, and
affordable housing to our nation's vulnerable older adults.
Moreover, AMC has realized tremendous growth as a result. To
illustrate, we started the year with 300 employees, and by the
year's end, we will have 540 employees, nearly doubling in size.
Looking ahead, all these promising developments, and corporate
growth, will culminate with a complete rebranding that will
capture the essence of all the services we provide to older adults.
