Bush Joins AMC as
Region IV Director
Timaly Bush is the new Regional Director
for Region IV, announced AHEPA Affordable
Housing Management
Company President/CEO
Steve Beck.
Timaly has more than
ten years of experience in
property management.
She has worked with
Public Housing, LIHTC,
Section 8, Transitional,
and Multifamily Housing programs. She is a
licensed property manager in South Carolina.
Timaly also has several years of experience in
social services having worked as a case manager
for the elderly and disabled population in
Georgia.
Timaly has a passion for making a difference
in the lives of others. She enjoys teaching,
mentoring, and training supervisors,
managers, and leaders. She is a graduate of
Adrian College, Adrian, Mich., where she
majored in Business Administration. She also
holds a Social Services Certification from the
University of Georgia.
Timaly is a United States Air Force Veteran.
Her experience in the Air Force allowed her
to travel the world, and it is where she first
began to study and teach leadership principals.
Timaly grew up in Philadelphia, Pa., home of
the Eagles, a team she loves. She dearly loves
her family. She has been happily married to
her husband, David, for 33 years. They have
three young adult children and one 15-year-old
Pomeranian.

Gardening
Takes Root at Several
AMC Communities
Gardening and Garden Clubs have taken root at several AHEPA senior living
communities.
AMC staff of AHEPA 408 Senior Apartments, Wilmington, N.C., obtained
a beautiful, raised garden bed. The landscaping company put the garden bed
together. The residents planted vegetables and herbs. They enjoyed being outside
and socializing.
The Garden Club at AHEPA 310-IV Senior Apartments, Saraland, Ala.,
received donations from Tractor Supply and Lowes so that the residents could
start the club. Since then, the residents have been busy planting seeds and tending
to the garden.
In New England, the residents at AHEPA 250-II Senior Apartments,
Waterford, Conn., enjoy working in the community garden. The East Connecticut
Community Garden Association provided a garden box, soil, and seedlings. The
garden is bountiful!
Program Boards Enlighten
Mishawaka Residents
Kindness and access to broadband were
the themes of program boards on display at
Penelope 60 Senior Apartments, Mishawaka,
Ind.
AMC staff created a " Kindness Watermelon "
to remind residents that it takes only a
moment to be kind. The residents were able
to take a slip at the bottom that says, " kindness
seed, " and give it to another resident.
The staff also created an Emergency Broadband Benefit program board to
educate the residents about the program's benefits. The program board described
the EBB program and how residents can apply.
