SOP Caps Busy Summer
with Expansion
I am humbled and honored to address the AHEPA family
again as Supreme President of the Sons of Pericles. I sincerely
thank the Brothers who entrusted me and the entire Supreme
Lodge with a second term. My congratulations are extended
to Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas, Grand President Kathy
Bizoukas, and Grand President Maria Ana Pantelous on your
elections. I look forward to working with everyone.
The Sons of Pericles has wrapped up another successful
convention season. We hosted our second virtual Supreme
Convention in June and had a tremendous turnout. Brothers
participated from throughout North America. Additionally, we
traveled to Athens, Greece, to take
part in the AHEPA Family's 99th
Annual Supreme Convention. What
a time!
While in Greece, the Sons of Pericles
joined the Maids of Athena to
sponsor a service project at Organization
Earth. We learned about
sustainable
living and prepared,
Timothy Noitsis
cooked, and packaged 200 meals
for a local homeless shelter. The Supreme
Lodge also took advantage of the opportunity in Athens
to spend time with our chapters in Athens and Thessaloniki.
We are proud to announce that we have expanded the Sons of
Pericles domain to Paris, France. However, the best part of the
Supreme Convention was seeing everyone in-person again.
We wrapped up our National Project, the JED Foundation,
that supports mental health initiatives for young adults. Together
with the Maids of Athena, we raised over $28,000. We
know we made a difference within our communities and to
those outside of the AHEPA family.
The Supreme Lodge is already hard at work. We reactivated
our Austin, Texas, chapter in early August and it is off to a good
start. We are excited to see what comes from this community.
We strongly encourage outreach to our Supreme Lodge officers.
With everything going on in the world today, we need to
work together more than ever. We are one big AHEPA family,
and we are stronger together. We look to count on you for help
and guidance as we strive to meet our goals.
Impact, Empower, and
Influence Will Inspire Growth
It is an honor, and I am truly humbled, to address the AHEPA
family as Grand President of the Maids of Athena. Congratulations
to Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas, DOP Grand
President Kathy Bizoukas, and SOP Supreme President Timothy
Noitsis, and their respective lodges, on their elections.
I am excited for this year and look forward to continued collaboration
and growth between all
four Orders of the AHEPA family.
The Maids of Athena Grand Lodge
is ready to excite and inspire our
membership as we bounce back
from the pandemic.

The Grand Lodge will continue
to focus on membership retention
and growth as well as our philanthropic
efforts. This year, the Maids
of Athena has selected the Ronald
McDonald House - Greek Division in New York City as our
National Project. The Greek Division provides support services
for families from Greece and Cyprus as well as Greek
Americans.
Additionally, I have chosen Camogelo tou Paidiou, The
Smile of a Child, as my president's project. It is an organization
in Greece that focuses to support children and families
with public health services both in prevention and treatment.
Our theme for this year is, " Impact, Empower, and Influence. "
It is a theme that will inspire our chapters to continue
to grow and prosper through the upcoming year. Our chapter
leaders did a great job keeping everyone connected. We anticipate
the day we can reunite. Through their determination,
dedication, and enthusiasm for our Order, the Grand Lodge
will work diligently with our leaders to achieve new heights
for the organization.
On behalf of the entire Maids of Athena Grand Lodge, we
extend our best wishes for a successful year!
