The program's curricula also included
lectures on various subjects at cool venues.
Is there a better place to learn about the modern
Greek political system than during visit
to Hellenic Parliament? Want to learn about
the modern Olympic Games? The students
took in a lecture about them at Kalimarmaro
or Panathenaic Stadium.
An evening visit to the Acropolis and taking
in a theatre performance in the Webster
Athens Cultural Center made for a wellrounded
program.
Theros credited Webster's program directors
and fellow classmates for making his
experience a special one.
" The people on this trip were nothing
short of spectacular, " he said. " From the
amazing program directors who show their
love and support for the students and their
individual freedoms, to the classmates, who
have all turned into a part of my family and
who I have grown to love. "
Theros appreciated the camaraderie
among the students experienced at dinners
together, or when taking in the nightlife, or
when simply relaxing on evenings full of
laughter and stories around a table of cards
at their apartments.
" The students bonded as a group
and enjoyed themselves, " added Dina
Skias, director of Student Affairs, Webster
University Athens.
