Presentación Estamos inmersos en un mundo en el que en muchas ocasiones se presentan falsas divisiones entre pensamiento y acción, éxito y ética, eficacia y humanismo. El saber filosófico nos ayuda a superar esas falsas disyuntivas dotando de análisis y reflexión al mundo de la acción y la técnica, permitiendo que el saber práctico tenga un alcance mayor en sus proposiciones y resultados. En ese sentido, afirmamos que la sociedad de hoy necesita valores para que la técnica, la ciencia y el poder no se reviertan contra el ser humano, sino que estén al servicio de la persona. Estos aspectos ayudan a resolver la pregunta del "por qué" y del "cómo", pero las Humanidades nos ayudan a plantearnos la cuestión del "qué" y del "para qué". Por ello, la Maestría en Filosofía Aplicada abre la oportunidad a que estudiantes, maestros y profesionistas de distintas disciplinas complementen y potencien su formación académica además de que sepan mirar y responder a los problemas y desafíos que plantean su profesión y la sociedad actual. La Facultad de Humanidades ofrece la Especialidad en Filosofía y la Maestría en Filosofía Aplicada porque creemos que ningún ser humano puede eludir las preguntas fundamentales sobre la existencia personal y la vida en comunidad, las cuales siempre laten en el corazón del hombre porque está llamado a descubrir la verdad y el sentido de la vida. La Filosofía es una disciplina formativa y humanizadora que sirve como articuladora del conocimiento. En el mundo profesional se presenta cada vez más la necesidad de que las personas, además de dominar su técnica específica, sepan integrar distintos saberes para comprender mejor la realidad y tomar mejores decisiones. A través del pensamiento filosófico pueden construirse puentes entre la fe y la razón, entre ética y técnica, entre libertad y responsabilidad. Mtra.
