Senior Tour Notes
Windsong Farm a highlight of 2010; new Super Senior Section

unny and 70 degrees is an
ideal day for golf, especially if
the golf is at Windsong Farm
GC, located in Minnetrista, with its prairie-style
clubhouse, warm and hospitable
staff and challenging Tom Lehman/John
Fought championship layout. Sixty-four
MGA Senior Tour finalists, by virtue of
their stellar play throughout the season,
earned this very experience September 21
at the 15th MGA Senior Tour Finals. Six
senior competitors prevailed in their respective
divisions (see photo).
The Senior Tour includes more than 750
Senior MGA Associate Members who play
in 57 events across four different sections
(North, South, East and West). All signs
point to continued growth for the Senior
Tour in the coming 2011 season.
The Section Cup Challenge, one of the
new events this past year, was a great success
at Dacotah Ridge GC, with the team
from the Northern and Western sections
beating out the Southern and Eastern section
team.

The Section Cup Challenge will visit
Giants Ridge Golf Course in Biwabik in
2011.

Super Senior Section
The Senior Tour, now in its 16th year
of growth, has spawned a new section for
a segment of its loyal membership that
has not lost its competitive zeal even as it
has aged gracefully. The MGA is excited
to roll out a new MGA Super Senior section
in 2011. Along with this new section,
the MGA is providing an exclusive rules
workshop for Senior Tour members. For

February 7. The Tour fills up quickly.
