(tips from the pros ) Winter Warm Up Practice this drill to increase your range of motion By Mike Barge, Hazeltine National GC Photos by Matt Seefeldt T his turn drill has been done for years, and it remains vital to maximize what you can achieve distance-wise from your swing. Place a club (or any similar stick) across your upper back. While in your golf posture, turn your back as far as your body lets you. Hold for at least fi ve seconds, keeping your eyes focused on where the ball would be. Don't forget to breathe as you hold the turn. Being able to complete a shoulder turn, especially as we age, will help us.
