championships at Fox Hollow. " She and I love to
play golf together-we do so whenever we can. We
have a yearly game (a dot game and a Nassau) we
play that starts in the spring and ends in midOctober. "

1999), nine MWPGA Senior Public Links (1996-2003,

Why she won the club championship: " I played the best in the club
championship that I had all year long. "
Strength of her game: " Consistency. Unfortunately, I can't hit it as
far as I used to, but I'm usually pretty straight, and I don't miss too
many shots. "
Favorite pro golfer: " Annika Sorenstam. I'm sorry she retired. "
Favorite golfer from an earlier era: " Mickey Wright. She had the
most beautiful swing. I did get the opportunity to play with her a
couple of times when I was in college, and I thought she was great. "
(Reuterfeldt played in several LPGA Tour tournaments while she was
an amateur.)
Did she take the U.S. Ryder Cup loss hard? " I watched every minute
of it. I just couldn't believe it. I was just kind of stunned, like everybody
else was. I think we got ahead, and we thought, we're going to
win, and they just kept gnawing away at us, and we lost. It was sad. "
Favorite course within 25 miles of her hometown (not her home
course): Interlachen CC
Favorite Minnesota courses: Minneapolis GC, The Minikahda Club
Best hole on her home course: No. 3 (short par 3 over a creek). " Very
picturesque. "
What she likes about golfi ng in Minnesota: " I like golfi ng anywhere. "
(She had played 88 rounds as of mid-October.)
