Pros suggest training aids to help you
get ready for the coming golf season.

e've made it to February, the month when winter starts rummaging around,
collecting its things and preparing to depart.
It's Minnesota, though, so there is plenty of time yet before you're able
to push that fi rst peg in the ground. The Golf Show is in town, the fi rst golf harbinger of
spring, so you may be looking for that piece of equipment to help with your season prep.
We asked fi ve local golf pros what they thought would be the best offseason
equipment purchase for your game.
Here are their recommendations:
" I suggest a full
swing training aid
called Swingyde.

away from the game
for six months can
create havoc with
your golf muscles, so
swing a heavier club

than the year before,
and it won't take as
long in the spring to
get in shape. "

of poetry for those

or golfers at the end
of their rope...read
some Rilke or Rumi
to help fi nd your balance.
