lead Wednesday, Yoemans played her fi rst
six holes in 1-over before driving the green
at the par-4 seventh and sank a 30-footer
for eagle to creep her way up the leaderboard.
She rolled in a second lengthy putt
at the 10th hole and added another birdie
at the 11th hole to climb into contention
before a double-bogey at the 13th hole derailed
any momentum she had.
Yoemans chipped within inches on the
fi nal hole to quietly fi nish in second place
at 5-over 221 for her third consecutive top5
fi nish at the event.
" I had a pretty rough start to the tournament
and yesterday was a good improvestretch,
posting a 77 on the fi nal day to fi nish
in a tie for third
with Shelby Busker
at 6-over par 222.
Raelyn Spears followed
up her opening
round 76 by carding
a 13-over 85 during the
fi nal round to claim a twostroke
victory over Carissa
Kunst in the First Flight, and a
fi nal-round 87 gave Ellen Solem
a three-stroke win over Alyssa
Klein in the Second Flight.
