Which hand serves as a better measuring stick for judging the success of a junior golf program? Trick question. Put both hands together, and you've got the answer that is embodied at the First Tee program of Three Rivers Park District in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, where success cuts both ways. Quantity? With approximately 4,000 kids participating at four venues-Eagle Lake in Plymouth, Cleary Lake in Prior Lake, Glen Lake in Minnetonka and Baker National-Three Rivers' numbers alone are staggering.
