(tips from the pros ) Less is More By Mike Barge, Hazeltine National GC Photos by Matt Seefeldt W hat should I be thinking about during my swing? That's a question an instructor hears frequently. The best answer? Less is more when it comes to thinking while swinging. You can have a set-up thought, a backswing thought and a downswing thought. Ideally, condense that down to two and-eventually-one. One key swing thought is to slow down the transition from backswing to downswing. Good golf is played with an uncluttered mind. Simplify your thoughts, simplify your swing and watch your game improve.
