he water of Sand Lake that is visible from the tee of
the No. 9 fi nishing hole at Moose Lake GC is not in
play, but just about everything else is on this long,
tough par.
From the back tees, you must drive out of a chute of trees,
negotiate the wind, keep the ball out of the left greenside bunker,
steer clear of OB both left and behind the green and fi nd
the putting surface, which is a long ways away. Anything pulled
left could easily carry OB in a helping wind, so use enough
club but don't swing out of your shoes.
