With championship courses continuously ranked among the
top 100 in the United States, Grand View Lodge's 45 holes of
golf covering two facilities, The Pines and The Preserve, give
golfers a truly customizable experience. Combine your love of

its unique golf packages. Tip: This July, the newly renovated
Preserve golf course will be open to the public. New cart

weekend up north. Enjoy local fl avors at Cru Restaurant with
a tour of the wine cellar, featuring more than 2,000 bottles
of wine. Hop on a pontoon for a romantic evening cruise on
Gull Lake or enjoy Destiny Cruise's luxury yacht. Tip: An
experience unlike anything else in Minnesota, Glacial Waters
Spa offers a couples massage for those wanting to combine
nature and relaxation.

At this historic lodge, celebrating its 100-year anniversary in
2016, the adventure only heats up when the snow fl ies, with
many winter activities such as snowshoeing, pond hockey,
dogsled rides, ice fi shing, snowmobiling and skiing.

Three 18-hole golf courses for players of all abilites are sure
to satisfy every golfi ng fan. Even Arnold Palmer himself
has left an impression at Breezy Point. With more than 50
acres, Deacon's Lodge is his signature course, combining the
beautiful surrounding nature with a love of the game. Tip:
Beginners at golf won't feel left out here. The Traditional
course is offered at a shorter 5200-yard layout and is an easy
walk with pull carts available.
Family Fun:
Situated on Pelican Lake, water activities for the kids are
endless. Fishing is available in new Lund fi shing boats, and
guide service is available. Swimming is plentiful either in the
lake or the resort's indoor pools. Ice skating is even available
in the summertime, as Breezy Point is the only Minnesota
resort with its on-site ice arena. Tip: Lodging options for
families are two- to three-bedroom vacation homes, condos
or suites, which include access to watercraft rentals, indoor
pools and a sand beach.
Romantic Getaway:
After a busy day on the course, Antlers Restaurant, with
its Canadian white pine interior, offers a perfect romantic
dining setting with beautiful views of the golf courses. Or, if
the occasion calls for something a little more relaxed, enjoy
live music six nights a week in the Dockside Lounge. Tip:
Breezy Point has a Capture the Romance package, featuring a
stay at the Breezy Point Inn whirlpool suite, champagne and
breakfast each morning overlooking Breezy Bay.
Notable:
Make the most of the fall colors with a golfi ng weekend at
Breezy Point. The courses are in excellent condition, it's
less crowded and the rich colors in late September to midOctober
provide for a picturesque backdrop.
