2015 Drive, Chip and Putt
Local Qualifiers
T
he Minnesota chapter of the PGA will be conducting free local and regional
qualifying for juniors to advance to the 2016 National Drive, Chip and Putt
Championship. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in four youth
categories, ages 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15. Participants must be at least 7 years
of age and no older than 15 by the championship final on April 3, 2016. The regional
champions in both the boys' and girls' division from each of the four age
categories advance to the finals that are held at Augusta National Golf Club the
Sunday before the 2016 Masters Tournament.
Each event participant gets three putts, three chips and
three drives to try to earn as many points as possible.
Awards are given out to the overall
champions as well as each individual
skill champion.
