It's quite the success story for this family-owned and operated establishment on an ideal site with rolling sun-kissed hills surrounding Burr Lake. Using cold-hardy grapes developed at the University of Minnesota by famous breeder Elmer Swenson, the Ledermann's cultivate and produce 14 varietals in this charming atmosphere. The indoor tasting venue walks out to a deck overlooking the lake and the extensive wildlife walking trails with resident chickens and lush prairie flower displays. Friday Night Pizza Parties and Tastings embellish all of that. There's also a food truck on Saturdays from 3-7 p.m. Production of these popular varietals is limited to a few thousand bottles per year, so there's a demand equation.
