guitar amps; however, in Brilliant Mode, it is amazing for clean

AEA N22

There's no mic in the AEA lineup more well-suited to the task of electric guitar than the N22.
Its near-field design allows users to position it right up against
the mesh of a guitar amp, and its tempered proximity effect
won't overwhelm a mix with excessive low-end response. The
active electronics within the N22 allow for compatibility with
any preamp in the studio or on the road, and it can handle
even the loudest of amps with a max SPL of 141dB. A bump
in response at 3kHz delivers enough bite to make the N22
the only mic necessary to record electric guitar, and eliminates the need to blend additional mics for top-end balance.
