Pair BAM with other Imaginando plugins (like K7D, for example), and you could go absolutely nuts. It also has a ton of power in the studio and it even offers basic recording/capture/sampling capabilities of sorts. The various workflows helped me craft new vibes and sounds I wouldn't otherwise come up with in other programs. My only complaint is that the mixer doesn't allow for fully separated track outputs in the DAW, unlike many virtual drum plugins. If Imaginando asked me what enhancements I'd like to see, I'd say the above- but that won't stop me from using it! Get Groovin' Imaginando BAM looks super simple on the surface, and it is-that's its beauty and its charm-but it has more than enough power to be a full-fledged beatbased production tool and then some. It doesn't replace a DAW, but it's way more than just a drum machine. Aaron J. Trumm has been making records and writing about it for 30 years.
