members, " said Burrei. " The calls have been great, and we
are seeing a trend in premium radiator shops adding our
DPF Alternatives equipment and services to their locations;
many of which have been cleaning using other equipment
in the past. "
" We came up with the name together, " said Burrei. " Customers are looking
for an alternative to costly replacements. They're looking for an alternative
to breaking the law and deleting it from their vehicles. They're looking
for an alternative to the dealerships who were presenting them with
primarily the only option they could come up with. So, as we started to
fine tune what we were offering and what the vision was, we came up with
DPF Alternatives. "
" Customers choose DPF Alternatives because they want all the benefits of
a brand new aftertreatment system for a fraction of the price, " said Burrei.
" That's what Junior's equipment that he invented allows us to create.
You can bring us your used parts, your worn out parts, and we can put it
through this process and it can be just like new. They're going to perform
just like new. We're using ultrasonic technology. That's what Junior has
taken and brought into this a larger scale to help with those pieces. "
According to Burrei, the most amount of intellectual property in DPF
Alternatives' Stage 4. " Stage 4 allows us to incorporate the air suspension
flush technology that Junior invented and the ultrasonic technology that
Junior has refined and incorporated a trade secret proprietary solution
to work with the sound waves, the temperatures, and the dwell times to
completely recover the system. Those pieces of equipment allow us to do
things that no one else can do. "
DPF Alternatives is a new member to NARSA/IDEA, but both Junior Reyes
and Chris Burrei say it was a natural fit. " We have recently seen a 35%

something in the aftertreatment service provider industry.
The events in the past we've attended were more diesel
related where aftertreatment is an afterthought, " said
Chris Burrei. " The conference truly felt like the epicenter
of aftertreatment recovery and cleaning. It was neat to
see the industry from inside the industry. Also, through
meeting the people at the conference, we've been able to
learn more about the history of the industry as well, which
predates our company. "
What's next for the DPF Alternatives? Reyes and Burrei
would like to have a DPF Alternatives shop in every major
market in the United States and then expand internationally
to places like Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Australia/
New Zealand.
" Part of our original mission was that we wanted to do one
thing, and we wanted to do better than anyone else, " said
Burrei. " That was truly what we were trying to achieve. In
doing that one thing, we call that staying in our lane. We
wanted to be everything in that lane from stripe to stripe.
So when a customer calls us, they will have more options
available through us than any other brand. "
