HOK, LOS ANGELES Over 130 hours of pro bono service TASKED WITH THE mission to create an open, empowering space, the design team “The Center’s energy is more alive and positive than at HOK Los Angeles donated more than 130 pro bono hours to redesign The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Youth Center on Highland, a 32,000-square-foot shelter for homeless youth. During the day, the center provides a safe place for young adults to relax, play and learn, while also providing overnight accommodations when needed to support abuse victims.
