ATLANTA APARTMENT ASSOCIATION: GOLD PATRON OF THE MONTH PDQ Services, Inc. I n May 2015, PDQ Services celebrated our 20th anniversary. This was an incredible milestone and one that could not have been achieved without our dedicated, long-term employees and valued clients. Twenty years ago, my father took a chance with $1,000 and an idea. He started a collection agency in a spare bedroom of his house making phone calls for a former employer. Through many creative endeavors and a few acquisitions, he was able to build a successful company that I never dreamed would emerge from the packet of information I remember him showing me when I was 10 years old. As many of you know, my father, Phil Bennett, passed away three years ago after a valiant battle with cancer. He is incredibly missed by all, but his legacy lives on. Through an emphasis on tradition, PDQ Services has been able to maintain our level of service and dedication that was so important to my father. Dad valued people and the relationships he cultivated with them whether they were a friend, family member, employee or customer. It took him a few years to reach a point where he could hire employees. One of these employees is still with us today, and a few of our longest employed are on our eviction crew. He had a way of making everyone feel important and needed as well as helping others however possible. It is this emphasis on relationships and the human spirit that has turned our employees into family. Making relationships a priority has also translated into business relationships with clients and colleagues. PDQ has always been a family from the start and while we have done the best we can to carry on this sentiment, we have also made strides in improving other areas. We have streamlined many of our communications to our clients and their attorneys by making documents and information more readily available. In doing so, we have made our employees more accessible by our clients for any assistance they may need. In recent years, we started our Holiday Payback contest where we donate funds toward the rent of three deserving tenants nominated by our customers. We run this contest from November to early December. Nominations are distributed to all of our employees who then vote on whom they believe is the most deserving. It's always difficult deciding among the nominees. We enjoy spreading this joy during the holiday season, and it is a nice nod to Phil and his caring and giving spirit. * LAURA TREICHEL PDQ Services, Inc. 700 Churchill Court, Suite 200 Woodstock, Georgia 30188 Tel: 877-926-8235 www.pdqservices.net 790545_Temporary.indd 1 1/27/16 2:25 PM Glass - Mirrors - Screens R * 24 H M AY/J U N E 2 016 | R * 24 HO U OU R SERVICE Fax: 770.381.6882 www.swsatlanta.com 12/02/16 8:36 803027_Statewide.indd PM 1 OU UR 794399_Ameristar.indd 1 H H Serving the Apartment Industry Exclusively Since 1989 Ph: 770.279.8424 24 404.968.8480 Serving All of Metro Atlanta O www.ameristarglass.com 24/7 * 365 Always on Duty 24 * Window & Patio Door Frame Repairs/Replacements * Bevel Strip Mirror Enhancements * Custom Window and Door Screens * Window and Door Glass Replacements * Delivery & Installation Available * 24 Hour Emergency Service H A B I T A4/6/16 T | 37 7:19 PM http://www.pdqservices.net/ http://temporaryapartmentmanagement.com/ http://www.tamatlanta.com http://www.ameristarglass.com http://www.swsatlanta.com/contact-us.html http://www.ameristarglass.com http://www.swsatlanta.com
