Celebrates 15 Years Hosting Lobbyists, Regulators AACS School Presented with Top Massage Therapy Award In April, the Professional Beauty Federation of California's "Welcome to Our World" (W.O.W.) lobbying event hosted several hundred policymakers, regulators and staffers. Inside a tent, at the steps of the Capitol, more than 200 services were performed by more than 40 beauty professionals who volunteered their time and expertise to showcase our world of beauty to this important group. The PBFC and its industry sponsors had the opportunity to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the industry in California, particularly policy and regulatory issues that need to be addressed by our elected and appointed leaders. Spa Tech Institute in Massachusetts was one of six schools recognized with the Excellence in Education Award from Massage Envy Spa, the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians in the United States.
