MHEDA Mourns The Loss of DeLight E.
MHEDA extends its condolences to the family and friends of
DeLight E. Breidegam, Jr., who passed away on September 9, 2015.
DeLight was the Chairman Emeritus and Founder of East Penn
Manufacturing. DeLight started East Penn with his father, DeLight
Sr., in 1946.

* WPRP Wholesale Pallet Rack Products
is expanding its East Coast operations
with a new location in East Stroudsburg,
* Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (TIEM) recently announced a new
$16 million dollar expansion and building
renovation at its forklift manufacturing
plant in Columbus, Indiana.
* Wildeck, Inc. signaled the beginning of a
major building renovation and remodeling
project with a dramatic VIP "Wall Busting"
event at its headquarters operations in
* The G.N. Johnston Equipment Co. Ltd., an
authorized Sales and Service Center of The
Raymond Corporation, announced it has
acquired the assets of The Econo-Rack Group
Inc. Econo-Rack became a wholly owned
subsidiary of Johnston on Aug. 1, 2015.
* The Modern Group announced that it has
chosen to realign its material handling business with 5 new manufacturers to better
serve its customers. Modern has announced
that effective immediately, they will distribute: Hyundai Construction Equipment
Americas, Clark Material Handling, Big
Joe, Terex Port Solutions, Konecranes
* Autoquip will start a second production shift
at their manufacturing facility in Guthrie,
OK, adding 15 jobs and deepening its commitment to its customers.
* Material Handling specialist Connell
Company announces the opening of a brand
new location at 3015 N. Lester Jones Avenue
in Springfield, Missouri on Oct. 1. This new
facility is in addition to their current operations in St. Louis and Kansas City.
Cornil Announces Semi-Retirement
Warren Cornil, President of Narrow Aisle, Inc., announced that he
will retire from day-to-day operations at the end of 2015. Though he
will no longer be at the office every day, Cornil will remain on the
Board of Directors and be of counsel to the company for 7-10 more
years. "I feel like I get the best of both worlds," says Cornil. "I still
to get to be involved with the company that I helped create and I
also have the ability to do some other things. Our new management
team is strong and ready and we've got the best team of coworkers
that we've ever assembled. I feel so fortunate."
Howard Bernstein Scholarship Winner Tours TVH
TVH in the Americas (TVH) recently invited Howard Bernstein
Scholarship winner, Daniel Anderson, to tour its Olathe headquarters.
Anderson was one of several students to receive the Howard Bernstein
Material Handling Industrial Distribution Scholarship award this year.
He is currently a senior at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, OK
where he is majoring in Industrial Engineering and Management.
