Alex Vu Brown Texas A&M University junior Alex Vu Brown became interested in the material handling industry after travelling touring several distribution facilities. "The conveyors, forklifts and equipment got me interested in the potential for growth and innovation within the material handling industry," says the 22-year-old from Forth Worth, Texas. Brown, who majors in Industrial Distribution and Biology, will graduate in May 2014 and is interested in pursuing a career in industrial distribution. He says, "I believe that it is a sector of the industry that provides much room for innovation. Automated solutions and new technologies Daniel Angolia Though Daniel Angolia came to North Carolina State University undecided about his future career-path, he eventually found that Supply Chain and Office Management appealed to him, after taking introductory business courses. Angolia, who will graduate in December, plans on pursuing a rotational program at a material handling company. He says, "This would give me the opportunity to potentially work in different fields within Material Handling and potentially move around to different locations early in my career. I would also like to work internationally if possible." Last year, Angolia interned for Volvo Trucks' purchasing division in Lyon, France. He also has specific industry experience, interning for NACCO and holding a sales support position with Fastenal.
