IN MEMORIAM AGC Houston Bids Farewell to Honorary Life Member Ernie Meyerson IT WAS WITH MUCH SADNESS that AGC Houston learned of the passing of Ernie Meyerson, Meyerson Construction Co., on February 7, 2016. Meyerson would have been 91 years old on February 19, 2016. Meyerson was inducted as an Honorary Life Member in 2006 and was involved in AGC Houston until he retired from his firm in 1988. Ernie Meyerson's father, Albert, was one of the founding members of AGC Houston and was deeply involved in the chapter, along with fellow founding members Tom Tellepsen and Raymond Fretz. AGC Houston sends its deepest condolences to his family, including Jerry Meyerson. He proudly served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII and married Raya Pinkenson. A memorial service was held on February 9, 2016 at Congregation Emanu El. ■ Spring 2016 759538_Andrews.indd 1 Pictured in this 1998 photograph during the 75th anniversary celebration of AGC Houston are George Miner, Ralph Marek, Alvin Lott, Dick Lewis, Ernie Meyerson, Walter Murphy, Howard Tellepsen, Sr., Jack Marshall, and Bob Fretz, Sr. 31/07/15 11:45 pm9
