MEMBER NEWS Robert W. Baird and Co.'s Stephen Ellsworth Recognized as Top Retirement Plan Advisors Stephen Ellsworth, Vice President, Senior Qualified Plan Consultant with Robert  W. Baird and Co., has been recognized by the Financial Times in its inaugural ranking of "The FT 401 (k) Top Retirement Plan Advisors." The 2015 edition was published on May 28 and recognizes the top 401(k) Retirement Plan advisors in the United States. To receive the ranking, financial advisors are evaluated using criteria such as assets under management, compliance record, experience and credentials. Stephen Ellsworth and his team have served as the financial advisors since the formations of the AGC Southwest Chapters plan in early 2010. Gilbane Building Company Promotes Lisa Martin and Freddie Bustillo Gilbane Building Company announced the recent promotions of two employees in the Houston office. Lisa Martin, Global Sales and Services Director has been named Vice President. Based in Houston, Martin currently leads Gilbane's companywide sales and marketing efforts, as well as the innovation services group. Martin has been with Gilbane for more than 16 years and has served in various capacities, including a successful role in sales support and business development for the Southwest region. In her current role, she oversees more than 35 sales services and innovation group staff members. Martin Freddie T. Bustillo has been named a vice president of the company. Bustillo began his built environment career in 1981 working for regional general contractors and a national consulting engineering firm before joining Gilbane in 1994. With his strong Texas network, he has worked in multiple office locations within the Gilbane organization. His market sector areas of expertise include education, general public and healthcare. "This is a great reflection of the more than 17 years of market Bustillo leadership Freddie has had with our team. We are happy that he has embraced this opportunity," said Dan Gilbane, Regional Manager. Cadence McShane Construction Company Selects Colby Rose to Lead Houston Office Cadence McShane Construction Company has selected Colby Rose as Vice President of its Houston office. Rose is responsible for the management of the firm's project personnel and support teams, the development and expansion of new business opportunities, and the strategic planning and execution of the firm's growth within its key market sectors. Rose joined the company in 2008 and recently relocated from Dallas to oversee the firm's growth. TBB's Van Arsdale Selected for Comptroller's Business Advisory Group Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has selected Corbin Van Arsdale of AGC Texas Building Branch (TBB) to be a member of Hegar's business group that will help develop state tax policy. Van Arsdale, Vice President and General Counsel for Texas Building Branch, was officially chosen for the advisory group in early summer and attended its first meeting June 30 in Austin. Fall 2015 Cherry Companies Announces New Divisional Manager Wesley Guidry, Cherry Companies Vice President of Portable Concrete and Asphalt Recycling, announced the promotion of Patrick Bridges to Divisional Manager. Bridges has been with Cherry for five years and has served in a number of roles that began as a heavy equipment operator. "I'm excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the progress of my division and Cherry Companies as a whole," said Bridges. "Success is about loving what you do and taking pride in your craft." Stan Marek Inducted into Texas A & M Constructor Hall of Fame On April 9, Stan Marek, CEO of Marek Brothers Systems, Inc., was inducted into Texas A & M University's Constructor Hall of Fame. Each year, the Construction Industry Advisory Council selects an individual from the industry who has distinguished himself/herself in the industry and who has been a supporter of the Construction Science program. Pat Kiley, Principal, Kiley Advisors, LLC, presented the award and described Marek as "The very best of what it means to be a builder, a leader, an Aggie and a humanitarian." 27
