Panels included a Japanese Bank Panel
moderated by William Hoffman of the
Apollo Aviation Group, a New Gen Lessor
Panel with speakers from companies such
as China Aircraft Leasing Holdings Limited
and CMB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., and a
Low Cost Carrier Panel.
The Airbus and Boeing Debate once
again drew a number of attendees, and a
Financing Debate and MRJ Presentation
rounded out the day's sessions. The day concluded with the ISTAT Women's Networking
Reception, organized in conjunction with
IAWA, and a Networking Dinner at a rooftop
bar at the beautiful Andaz Tokyo Toranomon
Hills Tower.
The final day of ISTAT Asia included
more insightful panels and sessions.
Norio Kimura, director, aviation strategy division, Japan Civil Aviation Bureau
Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport
and Tourism (MLIT), led the Keynote
Presentation. The panels included experts
such as Japanese investors, lessor CEOs,
and airline representatives to discuss
important topics in the industry. A New
Sources of Funding - Asia session covered the rising importance of the Asian
region in the aviation industry, and the
Future of Wide Body Market 777 and A330
in Asia session looked ahead in considering the role of notable wide body aircraft
in the future.
Details for ISTAT Asia 2017 will be forthcoming later this year. After this year's
massive attendance numbers, ISTAT Asia
is poised to grow even more in the future.
