On 8 September, Boeing Capital Corporation and Boeing Commercial Airplanes hosted their annual
Appraiser Day, bringing together numerous ISTAT members, officers, directors and past presidents
for a market update and a tour of Boeing's 737 Final Assembly Line in Renton, Washington
(pictured). Among the many ISTAT members attending were ISTAT Past Presidents Bill Cumberlidge
and John Vitale, ISTAT Director and Treasurer Douglas Runte, ISTAT Appraiser Board of Governor
member Betsy Snyder, and ISTAT member and frequent Jetrader contributor Bert van Leeuwen
(who also serves as ISTAT's Official Air Show Photographer). The event was spearheaded and hosted
by Brad Till and Bruce Nicoletti of Boeing Capital Corporation, both longstanding ISTAT members.
At the event, attendees were able to hear updates on Boeing's current and in-development aircraft
types from many Boeing leaders, including Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager,
airplane development, and Kostya Zolotusky, managing director, capital markets development.

BOC Aviation Announces Official
Opening of New London Office
BOC Aviation is pleased to announce the
official opening of the new London office,
headed by Steven Townend, deputy managing director and chief commercial officer
for Europe, Americas and Africa.
Townend, who has been in charge of the
revenue side of the company since 2004,
has more than 20 years of aviation finance
and leasing experience. He will oversee
all senior relationships within Europe,
Americas and Africa, and have primary
responsibility for airline leasing and sales
in these regions. Townend serves as a director on the ISTAT board.

In Memory
Our sincere sympathy goes out to
John Keitz, a long-time ISTAT member
and president of BK Associates, and his
family on the loss of his wife of 51 years,
Catherine Keitz.
Cathy (Catherine) died peacefully on
23 October after a long illness. She and
John had been married for nearly 51 years,
and had two sons: John Jr. and Matthew,
and two grandsons. The family request
that friends may make donations in her
remembrance to St. Francis Hospital
Foundation at 100 Port Washington Blvd,
Roslyn, NY, 11576-1347.
