ISTAT LATIN AMERICA FORUM
AUTUMN 2018

With ISTAT's other conference offerings - Americas, Asia and EMEA - well
established at this point, the ISTAT Latin
America Forum offers members an opportunity to see firsthand how an ISTAT
event grows from a relatively small gathering to a much larger affair. Debuting
in 2015, this marks the fourth trip for
an ISTAT conference to Latin America
and, based on strong attendance figures
for the 2017 trip to Bogotá, the Latin
America Forum is becoming another key
opportunity for networking opportunities and educational content.
As the final conference-type event of
the year, the Latin America Forum is still
well on the horizon, but that doesn't mean
that members can't start making plans
to attend. Planning is well underway as
ISTAT's youngest event ventures further
into the heart of Latin America after visits
to Bogotá and Panama City. The event
serves several purposes, and it finds ISTAT
continuing to expand its offerings across
Latin America - a region that is playing
an increasingly vital role in aviation.
Venues are being lined up for events,
and the planning team is working hard to
create an experience that members will
enjoy and benefit from, as well. To that
end, the event is currently set to incorporate the ISTAT mobile app and live-event
polling technology.
The conference will again stretch
across one and a half days, and there will
be opportunities for outings in the area.
Keep your eye out for updates throughout the year, and please make plans to
join colleagues in Latin America for this
exciting event.
