AGILE VECTOR ADAPTER
Keysight Technologies has
introduced a new agile vector
adapter that extends the capability of the company's
UXG X-Series agile signal generators to improve EW
threat simulations. The N5194A UXG X-Series agile vector
adapter allows for generation of complex pulsed signal
and waveforms based on IQ data. The adapter operates
from 50 MHz to 20 GHz frequency range, when coupled
with the UXG X-Series signal generators, and features
2 Gsample/second digital baseband generation system
capable of producing wideband signals with bandwidth
of up to 1.6 GHz. The vector adapter features a compact
footprint at two rack units high and allows for multichannel and multi-port configurations. It features frequency, amplitude and phase switching speed of 170 ns
with phase repeatability at all frequencies and is compatible with the US government's next-generation EW
(NEWEG) system architecture. The N5194A UXG X-Series

The MLMS synthesizer receives systems, converts frequencies and tests and measures equipment. The series
provides 1 kHz frequency resolution over the 250 MHz to
16 GHz frequency range, power levels of +8 to +13 dBm
and a full band tuning speed of 1-3 mSec. Its features
include enhanced phase noise, 1kHz step size, optional
external reference of 10-200MHz, the ability to fit into

GPS ANTI-JAMMING AND ANTI-SPOOFING
GPSdome has released the 1.0 Model T, an antenna
module, a plug-and-play cyber device that provides
anti-jam and anti-spoofing capabilities for GPS timing
systems. The device uses a protection technology called
Null Steering, which is described as the reception of two
antennas with a phase difference calculated to direct
the null of the combined two antennas pattern toward
the jammer, decreasing its power effect by 30 dB. The
device is compact, measuring 50 x 70 x 25 mm, with a
weight of 175g and offers direct connection of two standard GPS antenna. Working power is lower than .75 watts
and input voltage is in the range of 3-12 volts. Working

REAL-TIME SPECTRUM ANALYZER
AND MONITORING RECEIVER
Signal Hound has introduced the new SM200A, a
high performance spectrum
analyzer and monitoring receiver tuning from 100 kHz to 20 GHz. The analyzer features 160 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth and 110dB
of dynamic range, and system noise of 12dB over 400
MHz to 2.2 GHz and 14dB from 2.2GHz to 6GHz. Signal
processing is distributed between an Altera FPGA and an
external PC with an Intel core processor of i5 or i7. The
MS200A can be interfaced, using local API, to automated
monitoring systems or automated test equipment and

ELECTROMECHANICAL SWITCHES
90W POWER AMPLIFIER
Analog Devices has introduced the HMC8114, a 90
W, gallium nitride (GaN) monolithic integrated circuit
(MMIC) power amplifier that operates from 5.8 GHz to
18 GHz. The amplifier provides 68dB of small signal gain
and 49.3 dB of RF output power. The amplifier's operating baseplate temperature runs from -20 degrees to +64
degrees C with conductive cooling through the baseplate
and features overtemperature RF OUT overvoltage standing wave radio protection. Alarm status is communicated via the control connector and the status and control
interface are 5 V TTL compatible. The HMC8114 includes
8-bit SPI attenuator control and hermetically sealed active RF circuitry. Amplifier applications include Test and

Pasternack has introduced 12 new models of low insertion loss repeatability electromechanical switches.
Designed to ensure that overall system measurement
accuracy is maintained at optimum levels for test and
measurement applications that require highly accurate
