as you may know, the louisiana oil & Gas association (loGa) has a
political action committee (paC), loGpaC, which was formed with the
purpose of supporting political candidates that support our industry.
two new paCs have recently been formed, drIllpaC and rIGpaC, to
further engage in the political process.
The decision was made to create an additional two new PACs in order to become
a stronger player with a louder voice in political races across the state of Louisiana.
The 2015 elections, especially the Governor and the Louisiana Legislature elections, will play a key role in shaping the business climate for the next four years.
These PACs will exist to help the industry engage in the political process. Electing
pro-business candidates will help shape the future of our industry as well as the
entire business community.
We have included a list of all of the candidates for office that have been endorsed
by LOGPAC. Their endorsement is based off their previously established voting record
with LOGA and/or their interviews and voiced support for the industry and our issues.
We, as the oil and gas industry, have the ability to step up and support the
right state representatives, senators, judges, governor and attorney general who
are willing to stand up for the oil and gas industry.
If you have interest in joining our PACs, we will visit with you at your convenience.
