To submit a request for an invitation and to learn more, visit "Our theme for 2016 is accelerating change," said George W. Prest, CEO of MHI. "This topic is one that is very relevant and on the minds of the supply chain community. Regardless of product, service or industry, it seems everyone is feeling the pace of change going up at an exponential rate." The Executive Summit will begin with five short, relevant and concise talks on the issues relating to this topic and how it is impacting supply chain leaders. Some of the speakers are: * John Murphy, ASAC of the Drug Enforcement Administration on Developing Leadership * Brian Federal, Producer of 3D Printing Revolution on 3D Disruption * Alan Amling the CMO of UPS Supply Chain on Innovation in Transportation * Dee Ann Turner is Vice President, Corporate Talent, for Chick-fil-A on Social Responsibility These sessions will be followed by an interactive lunch roundtable discussion led by an Executive Summit speaker followed by a Q&A panel session with all of the speakers. The Summit will end with a workshop on trust-specifically how to improve stakeholder engagement, build world-class teams and improve profits through trust. The workshop will be led by world-renowned author and speaker, Stephen M. R. Covey, author of Speed of Trust. This interactive workshop will demonstrate how trust is essential for firms to take advantage of the pace of accelerated change occurring in the material handling and supply chain industry. Attendees will gain a practical look at exactly how trust functions in every business transaction and relationship and learn how to establish trust immediately and avoid time-killing business processes that are often deployed in lieu of actual trust. "The goal of the Executive Summit is to bring the leaders together to collaborate and develop into a growing community that shares knowledge and addresses current and future manufacturing and supply chain challenges and opportunities," Prest added. The content of this year's event was developed to address innovations that were examined in the 2016 Annual Industry Report Accelerating Change: How Innovation is Driving Digital "Always On" Supply Chains and US Roadmap for Material Handling & Logistics. The MHI Executive Summit is an invitation-only event limited to senior level manufacturing and supply chain executives.
