The Burke 2.0 Hot Oil Heater
The Burke 2.0 Hot Oil Heater is designed to
eliminate the hot spots and areas of poor
circulation present in other heaters. It has
30% more area in the inside diameter of coil.
Over 70% of all the heat is transferred to the
oil in the inner coil, so a larger heating surface
equals higher thermal efficiency. Burke
heaters allow air to get a double pass through
the heater with our larger coils, and as a
result, our efficiencies are one of the highest
in the industry for a helical heater.
Our expansion tanks are bolted on for
maintenance and serviceability. Some

highlights of the Burke 2.0 Hot Oil heater
are: a 2-1/2" Board Certified coil, it is shipped
with isolation valves installed, and it is pump
mounted with flex lines on both sides for
longer pump life.
Powerflame or Webster combination
burners, and an exhaust heat recovery system
are also available. Check out a Burke heater

Road Science's NovaGrip™ 1016
Next-Generation Liquid Anti-Strip
NovaGrip 1016 is a next-generation liquid
anti-stripping additive designed to extend
roadway life by protecting from destructive
pavement distresses such as potholes,
rutting and raveling. It is the safest and
most worker-friendly additive available
to industry. Its chemistry poses no health
risks to workers, and is both non-hazardous
and non-regulated for transport. Paving
crew and plant personnel comfort is also
improved since it has no irritating odor and
does not emit smoke in hot asphalt. From
an environmental perspective, NovaGrip

1016 users and communities benefit from
improved air quality in and around asphalt
terminals and mix plants. NovaGrip 1016
also adds operational convenience since it
works with all types of asphalts and modifiers
including polyphosphoric acid (PPA).
Use NovaGrip 1016 when you need:
* The safest and most worker-friendly
additive option available
* To eliminate smoke and odor at the

Roadtec, Inc.
The SP-100 Stealth asphalt paver is a unique
paver that eliminates the conveyors of a
conventional paver. It is fed by a Shuttle
Buggy Material Transfer Vehicle and gravity
simply feeds the material down to the augers.
Eliminating conveyors has many advantages
such as eliminating potential segregation
issues that they can cause which results
in a smoother pavement. The gravity feed
delivery system also reduces operating
costs by getting rid of all the chains, bars
and floor liners of the conveyors. One other
advantage is a savings in fuel burn since

there is no hydraulic pump and motor that
would be required to drive the conveyors.
The combination of these features means
that contractors using the SP-100 Stealth
Paver see a gain on both sides of the margin
by earning more bonus on their projects and
lower operating costs.
