Event Pork Producers and Industry Reps Gather for 2013 Pork Conference T he North Carolina Pork Council recently hosted the 57th annual NC Pork Conference, providing pork producers and allied industry representatives an opportunity to come together for education, fellowship and fun. Hosted January 31-February 1 at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, the conference was held in conjunction with the Southern Farm Show for the fourth consecutive year. The association of the Pork Conference with the Southern Farm Show allows producers and allied members the opportunity to attend educational seminars, join with fellow industry partners and visit the farm show, making their time away from the farm or the office more effective and efficient. This year, there were three seminars offered for Operator in Charge credit.
