2nd Annual Flying Pig
Challenge Sporting Clays
Tournament is April 19
ark your calendars now!
The NC Pork Council will host our 2nd annual sporting clays tournament on Friday, April 19 to raise money for the NCPC Political Action
Committee (PAC). We will return to Drake Landing in Fuquay-Varina for
the Flying Pig Challenge Sporting Clays Tournament. We look forward to
building on the success we had last year and perhaps with a little luck, the weather
will be better, too!
So for all of you non-golfers who haven’t wanted to participate in the Pork Chop
Open and missed the opportunity to participate at the debut event last year, this is your
chance to come out and join in the fun. Of course, all the golfers are welcome, too.
This tournament is for both experienced shooters and novice shooters. The course
is laid out similar to a golf course but with 13 stations instead of 18 holes. At each
station, shooters must attempt to hit a variety of flying targets sent from many angles
at different velocities.
Participants may bring their own shotgun or shoot a club gun available at each
station. Players will be provided ammunition, ear and eye protection, golf carts, lunch
Registration for a four-person team is $600. To register, contact NCPC at
919-781-0361 or by email, email@example.com.
