And he could undoubtedly benefit from a little rest. In the last several months, the president of the North Carolina Farm Families (NCFF) has been pushing nearly nonstop as advocate and educator for hog farmers. When asked about all of the places he's traveled, Emory could only laugh. Have you got a few hours? In February, NCFF began running ads on TV and radio, in local newspapers and on the Internet. Instagram, Facebook and other forms of social media have also been heavily utilized. "We told people the facts in our campaign and we introduced them to real farmers," Emory said. "We wanted to show the people in North Carolina that 1. Families like the Dunn Family are who NCFF are standing up for - hard working and responsible families who love what they do. 2. NCFF launched a media campaign that advocates and educates for family farmers. 3. NCFF has been to many events to promote the farm families.
