strongly believes that
its efforts can be
magnified through
cooperation and
coordination with each
other, the AGC, COAA
and the AlA agreed
to work together to
improve project-based

Convention in Las Vegas in March.
"Also, I think you will see the
Collaboration Chronicles become the
foundation for a new way of defining
project management, and I think you'll
see COAA's Spring Leadership Conference
agenda reflect the newest findings and

and construction project teams to do. This,
in turn, presents to all of our members
a greater opportunity. The best of each
organization becomes available to all. As
they say, 'a rising tide lifts all boats.'"
Tenets of the Lean journey, she
explains, include the following: 1) people first (develop people and teams); 2)
effective sharing, effective systems and
processes; and 3) swarming (bring the
best minds together to plan and solve
problems).
"This is the lens through which I see

"As COAA prepares its agendas for its
two major conferences each year, they
hold COAA/PIAC planning calls and consider inputs," she says. "And we keep

case studies available online."
As a result of signing the tri-party
