UPCOMING Planning, Scheduling & Control of Construction Projects Thursday, October 8, 2015 to Thursday, December 17, 2015 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm Construction Law Course Wednesday, October 7, 2015 to Wednesday, December 2, 2015 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm This course will provide students with knowledge about construction contracts and the rights, obligations and remedies that flow from them. This course also covers key critical topics that are bound to arise on any given project such as: * Construction liens (including a review of all of the recent amendments to Ontario's Construction Lien Act); * Employment and labour law considerations; * Document control; * Ontario Building Code Act enforcement provisions; * Insurance considerations; * Construction bonds; * Bidding and tendering issues; and * Well, register and find out.... Focus will be placed on reviewing actual contract provisions, interpretation key clauses, studying case law example and referring to specific by-laws and legal terms. This course is not to be missed.
