T W O T H O U SAN D F I F T E E N )HEUXDU\ +LOWRQ$PHULFDV +RXVWRQ7; The Wildcatters' Ball is the primary oil and natural gas industry fund-raising event for the IPAA Educational Foundation and the proceeds go toward the IPAA/PESA Energy Education Center. The Education Foundation's five petroleum academies in Houston and Fort Worth have served over 1,000 students and 950 students are currently enrolled. In the academies, students are taught the foundation of a STEM education and learn how they can use this foundation in careers in the oil and natural gas industry. The success of the Wildcatters' Ball, now in its nineteenth year, enables the IPAA Educational Foundation to continue its energy education programs while recognizing outstanding leaders, such as this year's honoree Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.). Thanks to past support of the Wildcatters' Ball, more than $8.5 million has been raised. %HQHÀWLQJWKH,3$$(GXFDWLRQDO)RXQGDWLRQ
