Invite your locally elected and appointed officials to join you in meeting with your congressional representatives! APGA holds the annual Government relations Conference in Washington, D.C., as part of the spring Board and Committee meetings. In addition to receiving updates on key natural gas issues, another critical component of this event is that APGA members meet with their congressional delegations. As in years past, this is an opportunity to greatly enhance our efforts when members of Congress hear directly from representatives of their communities. There are a number of key legislative issues facing public gas systems, such as the export of domestically produced liquefied natural gas and proposals to eliminate or reduce the availability of tax-exempt financing. This conference has no registration fee. To register and learn more about this event, please visit 2015 APGA Annual Conference July 26 - 29, 2015 Omni Interlocken Hotel, Broomfield, Colo. The goal is to inform members of these products as well as offer a unique opportunity to educate energy decisions makers-such as engineers, architects, builders, school district personnel, hospital operators, etc. The conference and exhibits will feature innovative applications to grow the direct-use of natural gas. This event will offer gas utilities- and other end-users- the opportunity to learn directly from (1) manufacturers about the newest technologies that are now available and ready for prime-time; (2) vendors who have assembled direct-use natural gas technologies and are able to deliver either or both of these products and services; and, (3) end-users themselves who have adopted/incorporated new technologies, and are willing to share their experiences and best practice applications of these new generation equipment and appliances.
