job? I have the opportunity to lead a team
of event planners who are passionate,
smart, driven, supportive of me and each
other, and most importantly, fun! I'm also
lucky enough to be a part of a department
leadership team of all women who are
truly making a difference.
What is your favorite quote? "What
would you attempt to do if you knew you
could not fail?" and "Doing your very best
in this moment prepares you for success in
the next opportunity."
You are given a million dollars to
launch your own business. What is it?
I'd open a flower shop and bring happiness,
joy, and beauty to people every day.

advice would you pass along to your
grandchildren? Be good to yourself, and
never wear high heels on trade show floors.

album be? "Earplugs Not Included."
Who has inspired you in your life and
why? My son, because of his innocence,
conviction and tenacity. My Mom, a pillar
of strength who amazes me every day.
My Dad, no finer man on earth with more
character or heart. Oh, and my husband,
who lives with me so that in and of itself is
an accomplishment.

advice would you pass along to your
grandchildren? Live each day to the
fullest, tell your family that you love them
every day, you are the keeper of your
happiness, do something that you're afraid
of, always lead with your heart, and above
all believe in yourself.
What would you do if you won
the lottery? Become a full-time
philanthropist, travel the world and throw
the most amazing events
If there was a movie produced about
your life, who would play you and why?
I hope Rachel McAdams would play me,
as she's an amazing actress with a great
sense of humor.

advice would you pass along to your
grandchildren? "If you don't ask, the
answer is always no." It's advice I still
struggle to take.
What's your favorite part of your day
job? I get to see the results of my hard
work anytime I'm on-site at a conference.
Who has inspired you in your life and
why? Samantha Bee. She isn't afraid to cross
boundaries, ask the hard questions and stand

up for what she believes is important - and
she is hilarious while doing it.

Comedian Amy Schumer; I just love her
sense of humor, and ability to make people
laugh at mundane subjects.
Who has inspired you in your life
and why? My wife. She is kind, caring
and generous, and she reminds me daily of
how much good there is in the world.
What would you do if you won the
lottery? I would pay off all of mine and my
family's debts, and probably open a farm
where we could foster animals.
