FEATURE Past Member of the Year Awards and Hall of Fame Inductees I n 2008, the ORCGA established an awards program to celebrate the contributions of our members, as well as those in the damage prevention community. These awards are presented at our Annual Symposium. The Member of the Year award is presented to the ORCGA member whose dedication and service to the ORCGA went above and beyond during a given year. The award honours ORCGA members that have served in the organization over a long period of time and whose impact has left its mark on the organization in a positive and memorable way. Award Criteria: • May be presented to more than one person in a given year • Must be or have been a member of the ORCGA • Have demonstrated a significant impact on damage prevention and the ORCGA over an extended period of time through participation & leadership within the ORCGA and other damage prevention organizations. • Dedication to specific ORCGA objectives • Advancement of the ORCGA goals on a local and/or national level • Being a champion for ORCGA growth by promoting membership and/or increasing visibility of the ORCGA through industry events/ organizations ■ EAR TO THE GROUND http://www.orcga.com
